(Apollon) Enjolras Les Misérables solo_patria Enjolras. Jehan's leader and friend, he arrived shortly after Jehan did. He then appeared to vanish, only to reappear a few days later with no memory of the turtle. Jehan isn't certain that he ever truly left--he honestly thinks Enjolras hit his head or ate some strange kedan food that messed with his memory. Regardless, he's happy to have Enjolras here. He only wishes that Enjolras and Grantaire had had a chance to speak before Grantaire's disappearance.

(Etienne) Combeferre Les Misérables philosophe Their guide and who Jehan will always go to for advice and reassurance. To be honest, he was happier when he found Combeferre a few hours after arriving himself than he was about Enjolras or the others. Out of the entire group, Combeferre is the one Jehan most relies on for stability and support, particularly when Bahorel isn't around. Having Combeferre here with him was a wonderful gift from whoever is in charge here.

(Reynaud) Courfeyrac Les Misérables lecentre Having Courfeyrac as well as Combeferre and Enjolras here is a miracle that Jehan did not think was possible. Things feel more stable with all three of them here, and that has helped Jehan adjust to death and the turtle immensely. He is upset, however, about Courfeyrac's denial of his own difficulties. He hopes to help his friend as Courfeyrac has helped others in the past, though he is on his own when dealing with Pontmercy.

Gavroche Les Misérables chiot The gamin from the barricades. Jehan never got to know him in life, but in death he's practically adopted the boy. He's made himself responsible for Gavroche, teaching him what he can and giving support and comfort when the boy finally admits to needing it. He lets Gavroche run in and out of his house whenever it suits him, knowing better than to force him to stay around if he doesn't want to. Gavroche frequently points out things Jehan never noticed, or offers a point of view that Jehan wouldn't think of.

Marius Pontmercy Les Misérables saisamour Oh, Pontmercy. Jehan still isn't sure what to make of the man, though he understands how devastated Marius was left with the departure of his Cosette only days after she arrived on the turtle. He leaves most Pontmercy Dealings to Courfeyrac. It seems mean, but Courfeyrac is the one who adopted the stray Bonapartist.

Temeraire Temeraire dracobin Out of all the creatures he expected to meet after his death, a dragon who shared his ideals is not even on the list. Yet here they are. Temeraire is one of Jehan's favorite people (dragon, whatever) on the turtle and they've discussed everything from politics to poetry to a brief and awkward discussion where Jehan attempted to explain why humans tended to want to protect their females. Temeraire put together a book of poetry for Jehan after his breakdown and it is quite possibly his most treasured possession.

Dorian Gray The Picture/Confessions of Dorian Gray depicted Dorian and Jehan just started out talking about politics and art and the next thing Jehan knew, they were flirting with flowers. It just progressed from there. Jehan knows of Dorian's condition and, after a minor moment of panic, accepted that he was sleeping with and is terribly fond of an immortal Englishman. He's also friends with a dragon. That's just the sort of place this turtle is. He hasn't seen Dorian in sometime, what with Grantaire's illness and the stress of rationing and everything else simply making a casual visit inappropriate, but he hopes to have a chance to visit with Dorian again soon. He misses their conversations and time alone. With the rationing lifted, they've reconnected and Jehan is positively delighted.

Alcuin nó Delaunay Kushiel's Legacy virginprice Alcuin is the sweetest, kindest soul on the turtle and Jehan is honored to consider him a friend. Differing politics aside, the two get along wonderfully and as far as Jehan is concerned Alcuin is a French as the rest of them. They share a love of poetry and beautiful things. Alcuin provides a different sort of comfort and support from his friends from home, focusing more on the soul than the mind, and if there's a man out there Jehan could love he believes it would be Alcuin. He'd never dream of it, however, as he knows how much Alcuin misses his Anafiel. He hopes for Alcuin's sake that Anafiel shows up soon.

Bryn Zethir OC trifurcate At first, Bryn was simply "Grantaire's impossible mistress" to Jehan. He couldn't believe such a lovely woman would actually sleep with Grantaire (or that Grantaire would ever take a woman to bed, not with Enjolras right there to pine over). He was certain, for a time, that she wasn't much of a woman. He was quickly proven wrong, however, and the time at the shore and the month they took care of Grantaire during his withdrawal brought the two closer. Jehan considers Bryn the sister he never had, almost.

Éponine Thénardier Les Misérables jondrette Gavroche's sister. Jehan met her once before, when she was in the city for day or two, but she disappeared shortly after that. Now that she's back, Jehan is able to make more of an opinion of her and right now, that opinion is "alarmed". Éponine is quite a startling young lady and Jehan isn't entirely sure what to make of her. He feels a pang of sympathy for Pontmercy as the girl seems to be stalking him.

Isabeau Shin Megami Tensei IV ironface One conversation and Jehan is intrigued by the young lady, although she caused Dorian some distress because of him and he's mortified (doesn't blame her, of course). She seems genuinely interested in history and politics, things he still doesn't associate with women. She's incredibly polite as well. He doesn't know quite enough to decide if he really likes her or is just intrigued, but he wouldn't mind having more converstations. Provided she doesn't upset Dorian again.
